We serve a diverse population, including veterans, seniors, college students, families, individuals reentering the community, foster care adults, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, individuals with mental health needs, and survivors of domestic violence.
Residents have access to shared kitchen and common living areas, washer and dryer facilities, utilities, Wi-Fi, and 24-hour security surveillance. Our goal is to provide more than just a place to stay—we provide a supportive environment where individuals can live, grow, and work toward greater stability and independence.

The Life Center Organization was created to provide a safe, structured, and supportive living environment for individuals working toward stability and independence. We serve a diverse population, including veterans, seniors, college students, families, individuals reentering the community, foster care adults, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, individuals with mental health needs, and survivors of domestic violence. Through supportive housing and connections to community resources, we help residents move toward greater stability, independence, and a brighter future. Tawanda Cobbs is the Founder and Executive Director of The Life Center Organization, a community faith-based organization dedicated to providing safe, structured, and supportive housing for individuals and families seeking stability and greater independence. With a heart for serving the community, Tawanda is committed to creating environments where people feel supported, respected, and empowered to move forward. Through leadership, community partnerships, and connections to valuable resources, she continues to lead The Life Center Organization in its mission to help individuals live, grow, and succeed—one person, one family, and one community at a time.
